eXtremePortalL™ Overview

eXtremePortalL™ is the logging component, and based on the configuration stored in the database this module will insert the requested data into the tables. There is a minimum amount of data that will be logged into the database regardless of the configuration. Some of the data of interest is:

• Transaction ID
• Start time
• End time
• Request/Response type
• First 40 bytes of the request and response.

If requested, the entire message will be stored in the database. This information is useful for diagnosing problems with applications on either end of the wire.
